Adwords Software = PPC Profits

So, the website is finished and out there on the web, ready for paying customers, it looks terrific and you just can’t imagine how you could improve it. How, exactly, are these buyers going to find your site ?

Here’s why you can’t do it without adwords software.

The internet is bursting with gurus who seem to come up with a new way of generating traffic, every week. This article is designed to lure people to my site and then there is writing for blogs, forums, social websites and now posting promotional videos on sites like You Tube, not to mention SEO. They are all proven methods however if you want sales and you want them fast then nothing beats PPC – Pay Per Click advertising on Google.

PPC ads are those 4 line little critters on the right hand side of most Google search pages. By clicking an ad you will be responsible for the creator of that ad being charged by Google for your click and you will, of course, find yourself on the ad owners site. This may be all old information to you, however, what far fewer people know is exactly how the major players organise their PPC campaigns.

If you have never found it possible to generate more in sales than you have spent on PPC ads, read on.

The leading online entrepreneurs compile a large list of relevant keywords which it is possible to do using only Google’s free External Keyword Tool. The right way to compile this list will be covered in another article, which I will also publish on my site. At this point they would begin writing the ads. The ads are put into ‘groups’ with two versions of the same ad in each to discover which brings in fewer sales and replace it. There is only one keyword per ad group and it is always the headline, the next two lines must shout the benefits of your product and line four is obviously your website address.

There is an obvious flaw to this method, or at least that’s what I thought, how can anyone write and handle that number of ads and keywords ? I’ll leave you to work out the impact on your home life of being glued to your computer 8, 10, 12 hours a day ! Not all keywords are 25 characters, or less, long and as that is the maximum allowed by Google, what then ?

By using only a small list of keywords we could handle the whole thing manually, however in the world of PPC, big is beautiful. I will, in another article argue why starting with a large keyword list works best.

O.K. so we create adwords campaigns on a large scale to find those elusive, order producing, keywords but obviously this cannot be done manually. Automation in the form of adwords software, I quickly discovered, is the only way forward. By automation, I am referring to specially designed software that can take a large keyword list, organise them into ad groups, handle the ads that go with them, then make uploading the whole campaign a breeze ! You must know which of your keywords are making sales and that can only be achieved by giving each and every one a tracking code, in addition the software has to be able to slot in default headline when the keyword phrase consists of more than twenty five characters.

So I reluctantly decided that it was out with the manual system and in with automation, two new problems, cost and the fact that I’m a hopeless techie.

To begin with I had no problem finding software that was perhaps very good but I found it technically challenging and very expensive.

Then I discovered Ad Grenade.

Then I found Ad Grenade that not only does everything I mentioned above but has great tutorials, marvellous help facilties and is very keeny priced. This was one of the big turning points for me online, which means, in fact, that I started to make real money and so could you !
