Create Adwords That Sell

After compiling your keyword list, following the research stage, you are ready to move on. This article is about the second stage of getting your pay per click campaign underway, creating the ads themselves.

To Create Adwords Campaigns this sucessful you need automation.

As I’m sure you are aware, a Google adwords ad consists of four lines, line one is the headline, lines two and three the description and the fourth the display url.

To begin with your keyword phrase must be the headline, just take my word for it at this stage. I would advise you to have just one keyword per ad group.

You should capitalize every word of your headline which can only consist of 25 characters, including spaces, long.

Google are quite fussy when it comes to exclamation and question marks but, if you can get away with a question mark, you should try it out. For example Backache Problems ? Don’t be concerned about what Google does and does not allow, they will let you know when you submit your ad.

By using your keyword phrase as your headline Google will embolden it – another plus.

But, I hear you say, that’s fine but what if your keyword phrase is more than twenty five characters ?

By having no spaces it could be that your phrase would fit, for example: GuaranteedCureForSoreFeet. May look odd but if this as the phrase the surfer was looking for it should still be effective. I more usually would have prepared a suitable substitute for such an occasion.

Lines two and three are where you get across the benefits of your product or service, please note I said benefits not features. Think of your prospective customer asking ‘What’s in it for me ?’ Instead of saying ‘Our Weight Loss Program Is Goverment Approved’, say instead, ’15 lbs Gone In 30 Days !’, not ‘Ingredients Scientifically Tested’, but ‘Drop 2 Dress Sizes In 30 Days !’

Your customers do not care about you, your company or how marvellous you think your product is. When they click through to your website you should begin by reinforcing the benefits but can, a little further down on the landing page, go into the features. Remember your descriptions must be an accurate description of what it is you have on offer. If your landing page does not live up to the interest generated by your ad, you are dead in the water and your pay per click bill will have increased for nothing.

Your keyword should be featured at every stage of this process. In an ideal situation it should be part of your website address, the adwords ad headline, the name of your landing page and the headline of that page.

I hope this helps you to create adwords ads campaigns that produce more orders and cost less more profit !
