I am going to be giving away guidance, training and advice to people who want to create a presence on the web or are struggling with their current web sites, here is why.
Although inspired at the time I have pretty horrible recollections of building and setting up my first web presence back in 2000. Everyone who embarks upon the challenge of designing a web presence should get a helping hand. Setting up your first web site can be quite scary if you are unsure of your ground.
Topics like comprehending the influence of back links and keywords, how they influence search engine page rankings and page authority, and the correlation between these and traffic volumes are complex and continuously poorly presented by significant numbers of “experts” on the web. I have encountered so many individuals on and offline who want to do this and simply don’t have the know how that I decided to do something about it.
I am lucky enough to have spent a long time seeking out, collecting, assessing, getting to know and mastering the large selection of different techniques and tool kits for establishing a web site, pushing surfers to my web sites and consistently improving my ways of doing things. I have decided to start teaching.
I have been thinking about this for about a year now and whenever I have had some spare time I have been producing my educational material. Everybody I have met who is just beginning or already building a web site wants a short cut, I’m no different and therefore whenever I have found high quality content and tools that work I am going to point my students at these rather than try and reinvent the wheel.
Everything I have evaluated that has delivered good or excellent results will be incorporated in my educational material and where there are gaps I have filled them in. In my work I have created some techniques, tools and methods of my own that I consistently use which I will be including in the training.
