If you are interest in search engine optimization (SEO) then you are going to have to have a basic knowledge about the Google Sandbox. The following will give you the details about the sandbox, and how you can get away from it. For new website owners it’s very important, that you take every positive step you can, to get your page rankings up on the search engine lists. The closer to the top in rankings the more traffic is driven to your site. It can become disheartening when you feel you have done everything right and you are just not moving up in the ranks. Well the Google Sandbox could possibly be part of this failure.

Determining what the Google Sandbox Theory Is:

After a site being listed with SERPS for a couple of weeks, the pages were being ranked too low ,and in some cases they were being dropped from the index. At least this is what the webmasters were seeing. They were also noting that sites were not ranking very well for the keywords that were selected. Yet these sites were optimized and had a number of inbound links.

Finally the SEO experts were able to determine just what this sandbox issue was all about. This answered the question as to why the sites that were in the high paging ranking positions were dropping, but the websites that had been at the lower end of the scale were getting the chance to climb up to the near top, depending on their keywords.

So what is causing the Google Sandbox repercussions?

The webmasters determined that the google sandbox effects were only surfacing after a period of time had elapsed. Meaning that the website was actually ageing when this happened. This became very important knowledge to the webmasters. It almost seems like it is a penalty for the site being established, but really it is not that waythe.

It is believed that the sandbox effect can be prevented. This is done by the number and age of the inbound links as well as their quality. This is what the Link threshold theory implies.

Check to see in your website is Sand boxed

Check first to see if you’re “on page” optimization is correct. Do you have a number of inbound links? If the answer is that both of these are ok then check the following. Does you website have satisfactory results for the proper keywords, and does your website appear in any of the SERPS related to this key words? If the answer is no, then you are most probably sandboxed.

The most substantial information is supplied to the users of the various search engines. It is the complex algorithms that are put together by the SEO to indicate how relevant the information found in the content is. This is for the purpose of search terms.
